“3. INTERNATIONAL YILMAZ SOUTH CARTOON CONTEST ”
1- The competition is open to all amateur and professional world artists
2- The subject of the competition; It has been designated as “Cinema and Immigrants”.
3- The technique is free for the works that will participate in the competition.
Works must not have been awarded in any competition before.
The socialist, progressive, critical, realistic and innovative values that are embodied in the cinema of Yılmaz Güney in the
participating cartoons and which are already at the core of the cartoon should be especially taken into consideration.
4- Participants can send as many works as they want.
However, a cartoonist is not awarded more than one prize.
5- The cartoons to be sent must be in A3 (29.7 cm x 42 cm) size, 300 dpi resolution and jpg format.

7- All the artists should send their name, postal address, telephone, e-mail address, short CV and one photograph together with the works.
8- The cartoons that have been awarded and deemed worthy to be exhibited will be published in an album by Sancı Yayınları and this album will be sent to the owners.
9- The exhibition of the competition will be opened in different cities, and the award ceremony will be held on the final night of the festival on June 14, 2020.
The awards of those who cannot attend the ceremony will be sent to their addresses.
10- As a result of the evaluation; “Yılmaz Güney Honor Award” will be given to 3 cartoonists, “Yılmaz Güney Culture and Art Festival Special Award” to 1 cartoonist, and “Jury Special Award” to 1 cartoonist. In addition, “Yılmaz Güney Freedom Award” will be given to 2 cartoonists from prisons.
The awards include “Specially Designed Figurine, Yılmaz Güney Books Set and Original Yılmaz Güney Movie Posters” published by Yılmaz Güney Foundation.
11- In the selection committee; caricature artist Elena Ospina (Colombia), Erhan Yasar Paternity (Turkey), Ismail Red Dogan (Belgium), Mihai Ignat (Romania), Altan Özeskic (Turkey) and Askin Ayrancioglu (Turkey) are available.
12- Cartoons participating in the competition, posters, calendars, brochures, magazines, newspapers, etc.

13- The cartoonists who participate in the competition are deemed to have accepted the above conditions.
